Building History - The Heritage House

We are reusing a space instead of building a new one for the café. This promotes sustainability. The building is a historical carriage house built in 1842. Since then it has provided many functions in the community. More recently it was the office of a local doctor. We feel in providing organic vegetarian cuisine in this space we are re-enacting the function of medicine. This is to say, food is medicine.
